Masa Sushi is easily the second-best AYCE sushi spot I've been to--and I've been to a lot across the country! For only $21 at lunch before tip, it's a steal for the quality you get. The service was awesome--my waitress was super attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. The food was fresh and delicious. I really liked the cucumber slices under the seaweed salad, such a nice touch. The edamame was cooked just right, and the ice cream was the perfect way to wrap up the meal. The sushi was great, though I think the fish slices could've been a little colder. Even so, everything tasted amazing. My favorite rolls were the Bon Temp's roll, Baby Tiger roll, and Dragon roll
I have been to the sushi masa in Austin and am glad they finally opened one closer to us. Such a a great price for sushi- that is usually so expensive. Even if you are going to get just one roll and an app, you also get a drink and it's nearly the same price as if you got a roll at any sushi restaurant. The deal happens if you get two or more rolls, and/or multiple appetizers - you're basically getting stuff for free. And the quality of the food is good. It's sushi! It has to be or I wouldn't give any stars cuz it would make me sick. The place is pretty big with many different sections for plenty of seating. The staff is friendly, though they did seem to move a little slow even though there were that many people. This is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars.
Fantastic sushi restaurant. Everything was great. We were seated quickly, the food is wonderful, the waiter was amazing. We loved the all you can eat deal, with tons of variety. There are even 6-7 options of rolls for vegetarians. The pricing is also very affordable. I highly recommend.
Very good service, came in as a group of 15 and food was well made and quickly served. Would recommend.
First time dining at this location and honestly I was very pleased. Our waitress was very nice and sweet with a good sense of humour. The food was good and service was great. We didn't have to wait long for our order. Both my daughter and I chose all you can eat sushi/sashimi. It was the best! We had a great time and of course the ambiance was good. The place wasn't roudy either. I recommend this place
We've been to Sushi Masa a few times now and it's been nothing but great service. We were instantly drawn in when we learned that they do AYCE and have a great menu to go with it and not just basic handrolls or sashimi. Even on a busy weekend afternoon, they seem to be very accommodating to large parties but even for a busy restaurant, it never seems overly loud inside. The staff has been friendly and welcoming and is quick to escort us to our table with the server following suite to take our drink order. They're very patient and since it's AYCE, they don't rush you to place an order. We've only gone for the Lunch AYCE and can't wait to try the Dinner AYCE menu which has a few more rolls that we're interested in trying. Every item we've ordered tasted fresh and amazing. We normally order Shaggy Dog, Red Dragon, 225, Dragon, and the Baby Tiger.
This place was as great as my friends said it would be. To start you can't be the lunch all you can eat price for only 20.95 plus a soft drink. Our waiter was very nice and so were the people who greeted me when I entered. Everything I ate was wonderful and tasted fresh. I wish they had a location closer to me so I could go often but I will be back because who can beat sushi plus two drinks for $40.
I've heard sooo many great things about Sushi Masa and finally got to try it out. No wait on a Saturday night. Service was friendly, but sooooo slow... you would've thought they were out catching fish because we waited so long for our food. I did appreciate that there wasn't much rice in the sushi rolls and sashimi was fresh (although inconsistent / small pieces). Nigiri had SOOO much rice though. I wouldn't get that again. Shrimp tempura had way too much breading, so pass on that. Dessert was ok, ice cream was icey and not my cup of tea. I would only order the oreos next time. It was good, but of all the AYCE I've tried, Sumo is #1, Masa #2, and Kanau is #3.
